A rigorous process to develop actionable Policy Playbooks
SRN’s Policy Playbooks provide innovative, tested ideas for how to meaningfully leverage ARP funding. To produce each Playbook, State Recovery Now has engaged leading scholars, policy experts, and practitioners to articulate innovative solutions to some of the country’s most pressing problems. Each policy playbook presents a targeted solution to a challenge identified on the issue maps, proposes compelling solutions in alignment with ARP funding guidelines, and identifies implementation and impact metrics.
We start with a policy playbook template - capturing the essential elements of a policy intervention. These templates are authored by area experts, and cover crucial details including evidence, metrics, cost, and return on investment.
Our team creates a two-pager overview on the policy intervention, based on the template. We know the importance of communicating information succinctly for policymakers, so the two-pager gives high-level details on each intervention.
For decision-makers interested in reading more depth about each policy intervention, we have the detailed policy playbook. The playbook provides more details about each intervention.
